With so many rightwing politicos having become rabble-rousing, thug-prodding, NUTJOB-WHISPERERS, fomenting hatred via every possible medium, it really should be no mystery why there’s so much violence. Rants have been made righteous; hatred validates one’s “authenticity.” Like one big televangel’d, reality-tv’d wrestling match. Violent words, violent politics, violent religion, bloodlusty sports, Limbaugh and Coulter’s rants, Sarah Palin drawing gunsights on internet-launched photos of every democrat she can put her hands on (and it seems like no coincidence that Gabby Giffords was then shot). Then there are those televangelists getting off on Apocalypse-lust and Armageddon-mongering. It’s a circus of violence-glorification out there…
